Course Description
Adobe® Acrobat®'s Portable Document Format (PDF) is the industry standard for exchanging electronic documents. Acrobat can maintain your page layout and prevent changes to documents, even when they are shared with others. Learn to create and edit PDF files with hyperlinks and indices. Practice optimizing documents to ensure a small file size and compatibility across platforms. Learning Adobe® Acrobat® is essential for professionals who send designs and documents via email or work within the printing industry.
Course Outline
This course consists of three modules:
Module 1: Create, Combine, and Convert
Module 2: Enhancing and Editing
Module 3: Security, Signatures, and Forms
Learner Outcomes
This course provides a comprehensive foundation for students to become technically proficient within the Adobe® Acrobat® application, developing and demonstrating an understanding of the capabilities of the application.
Upon completion of the course, a successful student will be able to do the following:
- Proficiently create and convert PDF documents, demonstrating their understanding of file conversion
- Edit and enhance a PDF by adding to and manipulating the document's visual and textual componenets
- Create a multi-page PDF with internal navigation features
- Create a functional PDF form that includes at least five distinct form fields
- Send a PDF form to collect an e-signature using Adobe®'s Signature tools
- Apply security measures to a confidential PDF document, ensuring it is password-protected and sensitive data is redacted
Notes
Required for this class is Adobe® Acrobat® Pro or a Adobe® Creative Cloud All Apps plan with Desktop Apps downloaded on your home computer or laptop.
You will need a Creative Cloud account username and password.
