Course Description

Experience the process used by professional freelancers and design firms to create professional-quality design. Understand and practice principles of good design, including form, space and color fundamentals, and how to translate key messages into design utilizing typography and images effectively.

Notes

Students must complete the first five courses in the Graphic Design Certificate Program before enrolling in this course. Please review the prerequisites and enrollment guidelines to ensure you meet enrollment requirements.

Prerequisites

Courses in the Graphic Design Certificate Program build upon one another with assignments and lessons, allowing you to hone your design skills with increasingly sophisticated projects:

  1. Introduction to Graphic Design
  2. Adobe Acrobat
  3. Print Graphics with Photoshop
  4. Adobe Illustrator
  5. Adobe InDesign

Please Note:
Only students who have completed all five courses listed above are eligible to enroll in the capstone course.
