Course Description

Works on paper such as prints and drawings have served a key role in the history of art and reflect a popularity in collecting in the art world. Join local art advisor Jennifer Klos at Conduit Gallery for an insider's look at the medium of paper and what to consider when buying prints and drawing. Discussion will include a brief history of the medium of printmaking, the technical processes, color and materials, and the value of unique editioned works in the art market today. Learn how to identify different types of prints and how to decipher edition number, signatures and condition. You will come away prepared to start or add to your works on paper collection with confidence.
