Course Description
Explore policies and programs that your organization can use to facilitate better health and wellness for your employees and discover issues that might be detrimental to employees' physical and mental health.
Learner Outcomes
After completing this course, you'll be able to:
- Identify different types of wellness in the workplace
- Explain how communication facilitates workplace wellness
- Describe programs, benefits, and work arrangements that support employee wellness
- Explain how to apply a model to develop wellness programs
- Explore tools used to create and assess wellness offerings
- Explain components of wellness policies
- Explain how to include employee wellness in health and safety policies
- Describe metrics used to gauge workplace wellness
- Outline the legal and ethical aspects of workplace wellness initiatives
