Course Description
Develop a fair and effective interview process that will guide you to an excellent new hire. Learn about different types of interviews and practice designing effective interview questions. Come away from this class with tips to respond to unexpected and challenging situations during interviews.
Learner Outcomes
After completing this course, you'll be able to:
- Describe what information an interview can gather
- Identify the role that HR professionals play in planning and executing the interview
- Identify common problems with the interview, including bias
- Identify a fair process to evaluate candidates
- Plan an interview and describe best practices for interviewing candidates
- Categorize different types of interview questions
