Course Description
Improve organizational performance by connecting data to people and processes. Learn about tools, measurements and frameworks to analyze and deliver data to stakeholders, whether you work in the public or private sector. Ensure that your organization avoids data overload or data paralysis — when your data are abundant but poorly organized or misunderstood, key decision-makers may struggle to extract actionable insights and delay important strategic choices. In this intermediate-level course, understand the relationship between assessment and strategy and how to use the correct tools to engage your colleagues and spur performance improvement.

- Explain how performance measures are used in different settings
- Differentiate among various organizational performance measurements
- Describe the advantages and disadvantages of KPIs
- Describe the advantages and disadvantages of the Balanced Scorecard

- Explain the relationship between performance assessment and organizational tactics and strategy
- Assess the validity of performance measures for an organization based on a brief case study.
