Course Description
This course equips students with essential skills in prototyping and wireframing, pivotal processes in UX design. Students will learn to translate conceptual ideas into tangible, interactive prototypes. Key topics include selecting appropriate prototyping tools, creating low- to high-fidelity wireframes, and iterating based on user feedback.
Course Outline
Week 1: Getting Started with Figma
- Introduction to the Figma interface and tools
- Creating your first wireframes
Week 2: Building Complex Wireframes
- Using components, styles and grids for consistency
- Designing detailed wireframes with reusable elements
Week 3: Prototyping and User Interaction (Design challenge)
- Adding interactivity to your designs
- Setting up user flows and simple prototypes
Week 4: Advanced Prototyping and Testing
- Implementing animations and advanced interactions
- User testing and refining your prototypes
