ARTH457 - Art of the Italian High Renaissance

Course Description

Examine the work and careers of Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, and others, and learn about the development of the High Renaissance style. Centered in Rome, the High Renaissance period spanned the early decades of the sixteenth century and produced some of the most recognized paintings and sculpture in Western art history.
