PCWSAT105C - RISD Pre-College Test Preparation - SAT Boot Camp
Course Description
Build your strategy to approach college entrance exams with confidence. While some colleges and universities are waiving standardized test scores, many still use scores to determine merit scholarships.
SMU's digital SAT and PSAT courses cover tips, tools, and techniques to help you achieve your best score on standardized tests and take the next step to achieve your academic goals. Our experienced instructors present information in manageable units, focusing on each component of the exam, giving you the skills needed to approach each question. With SMU College Prep, you will gain the skills needed for success on the SAT and reach your exam date ready to perform at your peak.
The SAT tests students' skills in evidence-based reading and writing and math. The test aims to provide colleges and scholarship organizations with a common data point that can be used to compare all applicants. Students typically take the SAT during their high school years, with many taking it in their junior or senior year. A major update to the SAT launches in March 2024 with significant changes to format and questions while also transitioning to digital access. This boot camp content is updated to address the new SAT.
