Course Description

Examine the works of van Gogh, Gauguin, Toulouse-Lautrec, and Seurat who both built upon and challenged the ideas and artistic conventions of Impressionism. Explore the Post-Impressionist style in the late nineteenth century and its unique imprint on the art world. Apply your newfound knowledge of these artists in the upcoming art exhibitions in Dallas, including Van Gogh and the Olive Groves at the Dallas Museum of Art and the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit Dallas. 
Please Note: Visits to these exhibitions are not included in the course.
