Course Description

From soup cans to celebrity portraits, Andy Warhol created some of the most iconic images in American art history. While widely known for his Pop art, Warhol also created many other pieces including films, abstract paintings and commissioned portraits. In this course you will explore Warhol’s career and examine his body of work within the context of contemporary art and his continuing relevance as a cultural icon.
