Course Description

Explore three of Agatha Christie's most famous Poirot novels: The Mysterious Affair at Styles, The Murder of Roger Ackroyd and Murder on the Orient Express. Analyze their literary elements, how they subvert the genre, and how they respond to the changing social landscape of interwar Britain. We also will explore Christie's life as an author as well as the elements of mystery-writing itself.
