Course Description

Consider this a crash course in Dallas architecture! Trace the history of Dallas through the work of five architects who defined the city’s architectural landscape: Hal Thomson, Fooshee and Cheek, Mark Lemmon, Howard Meyer, and C.D. Hill. Beginning before World War I and continuing through the explosive post-World War II expansion of the suburbs, these architects, individually and collectively, provided a lasting legacy of architectural style and taste in the landmarks and neighborhoods in which we live and work today.
