Explore and strengthen monetary skills to help you succeed and thrive in the classroom, your future career and beyond.  Gain insights about your strengths and techniques to overcome budgeting obstacles.  In individual and small group activities, cultivate mental processes to improve communication, collaboration and critical thinking. Learn to create a financial portfolio, how to develop a budget, make responsible choices with money and cost-saving strategies to avoid college debt.

This workshop is for rising 10 - 12 grade students.


In this workshop, participants will learn how to create a portfolio and plan for living on a student budget. Financial responsibility and cost-effective ways to avoid college debt will be addressed in the morning hours. Setting up a professional portfolio as a crucial step towards college and career development is the afternoon focus.
